I don’t know if its a regional thing with me, but mine I can never seem to find is an S550 Mustang GT in Grabber Blue with black wheels and the performance package. I dont think any are for sale in the entire state. The runner up would be a current gen Mazda Miata Sport. Basic no options. Manual. Arctic White or Jet Black. There’s 1 within 100 miles of me.

I’ve actually seen a few of those over the years.

When I considered buying a 500 Abarth, I was adamant that I find one in red with white stripes and white wheels. The nearest one was 2500 miles away in Arizona.
Instead, I ended up buying a WRX in World Rally Blue which I fitted with th the obligatory gold wheels (b/c I couldn’t afford a Launch Edition STI):

Yea you’ll never find that Jalopnik special. Though a quick search I was surprised to find that there were 34 328d Wagons within 100 miles of me. But something like what you want you would probably have to special order and pick up from Germany.

I dont think I have ever even seen that color before. For some reason most TSX wagons I had seen were burgundy.

I think you did good. That WRX in that color/wheel combo is almost obligatory Subaru. The gold wheels work with Black and White also.
Its funny though that you wanted that Abarth in that color combo. The principal of my sons schools has that exact combo but his is white with red stripes and white wheels.

Quicksand 6MT Tacoma TRD Pro. There’s one 500 miles away.
I’ve only seen two or three other Miata Clubs without the BBS/Brembo kit but only in forum/Facebook group photos. Never in person with the exception of mine.

Club and GT MX5s are still relatively affordable. plus they have an LSD or leather. Things Miata buyers would want. Don’t really blame dealers for not stocking Sports.

I did a quick search for that Taco and couldnt find any in that color. Quicksand is pretty popular here in SOCal. I see multiple on a daily basis and I think they sell quick when dealers get them. You would probably have to factory order.
I would love a Miata Club in that exact get up. You should feel good about having something unique like that.

I’ve seen one in person, probably 3-4 years ago. It’s a great color. Most TSX wagons I see are black but I have seen a burgundy one. Milano Red ones also exist but are just as rare as the blue. I’m thinking about buying one when I pay my sedan off, and making the sedan into a project car, but I don’t want another greyscale one.

This is true. Especially given that theres not much price difference between the 2.

Yea please dont go gray or silver. Thats like Acura’s color from the 00's and it doesnt age well. I once seen a Milano Red TSX wagon but it was on the showroom floor of the dealer when it was new. I saw go for it though. I’ve always read positive things about them and I think they have pretty decent cargo capacity.

BMW 128i M-sport with a manual.
I want all the sporty bits, but the base normally aspirated engine/trans.

There’s actually 1 near me for sell from a private seller. Its a ‘13 with 44 thousand miles and the guy wants $15,5 for it.

My V70R, in any combination.
Only 3,500 sold over four years.
Flash Green only available for two years.
Only about 1/3 available with manuals.
Even less available with the Atacama interior.
How many Flash Green, Atacama, 6-speed cars you think exist(ed)?
Probably like 5.

I have never even seen one in you’re color nor did I know it existed until now. I would keep that car for life. I actually almost pulled the trigger on a V70R a few years back. Space ball and everything. Only downside is that it was silver.

Well, uh, my sedan is grey. But it’s the good grey. It’s kind of a stone grey, and looks good in light.
The other grey, the darker, metallic one? Yeah, snooze. And I love Milano Red, but it does not age well if you don’t take meticulous care of it. Starts fading to pink, and if the clear starts to peel off it gets even worse.

Yea you’re gray is good not the other metallic one. But for some reason Acura’s and Nissans have bad paint quality and peel early and I never got why. For instance I have a neighbor next to me that has a 2013 Altima. Black and roof paint has already started to fade and peel and the car is only 5 years old.

Yeah, the silver is kinda boring.

Yeah, the Civic in particular has bad paint issues in the 8th and 9th generations. The grey wasn’t my first color choice for the sedan, but it’s a 6-speed and those are quite rare regardless of the color.
